What KAIROD is building

Within an authorised Enterprise corridor, KAIROD is designed to compare declared transaction conditions with permitted evidence. KAIROD Verify currently monitors basis risk using configured market-data inputs. It is designed for commodity-finance institutions that require clearer information before value changes hands.

Status: Demonstrated proof of concept. Preparing for controlled live field pilots. KAIROD does not represent live field IoT hardware, simultaneous three-layer deployment or live financial-settlement integration as current production capability.

KAIROD Attestations

KAIROD Monitoring Attestation is the auditable output of a Verify monitor. KAIROD Physical Attestation is an Enterprise record for a named physical-evidence corridor. The KAIROD record is authoritative; any PDF is a time-stamped representation of that record.

An attestation records the KAIROD result from the permitted evidence sources available to its configured monitor. It does not independently certify title, ownership, quantity, quality or physical existence.

Proof of concept

KAIROD completed three proof-of-concept corridors across UK electricity, Brazilian electricity and Brazilian soybean data: 2,013 monitoring epochs with zero false-positive clamp activations in the tested normal conditions.

The POC data did not contain fraud events or genuine physical divergence events. The result demonstrates stable operation in the tested normal conditions; it does not demonstrate live fraud detection, genuine divergence-event detection, or full simultaneous production IoT and field deployment.

Control model

KAIROD calculates basis risk from declared versus observed value. Prior valid observations establish the baseline; a fixed 3-sigma boundary identifies statistical abnormality and a separately governed contractual tolerance identifies unacceptable divergence. In Verify, a breach is a governed review event. In Enterprise, it can trigger an authorised corridor control action only where configured. Neither is a declaration of fraud.
